Newmax Company is currently operating in conformity with resolution number 401 from the 4th of November of 2008 issued by the environment ministry – Environment National Cabinet - CONAMA.
Newmax is registered at the Federal Technical Cadastre of Defiler or users of environment resources Activities – CTF, according to art. 17 subsection II, from the law nº 6.938, of 31st August 1981.
Newmax has a Management Plan of batteries which correspond to a set of technical procedures environmentally proper to handling, collect, transport, storage and final disposal of battery reducing any environment contamination risk.
Newmax is also prepared to receive used batteries at its end of life as well as other brands, in order to promote a proper final disposal according to the environmental regulation.
Newmax used batteries at its end of life must be sent to NBB Industria e Comercio LTDA, to be disposed according to the resolution 401/08 from CONAMA.
After the withdrawal of the batteries in its end of life, we emit a document to prove the final destination of the lot according to the environment regulation, avoiding any environmental responsibility to the consignee.
