Characteristics
Lead acid battery regulated by a valve: is a closed accumulator, whose main operation is the cycle of oxygen, it has immobilized electrolyte and also a valve control to leak gases when the pressure inside the element exceeds a preset value. It doesn’t provide free electrolyte inside the vessel preventing accidental spillage of acid, allowing some models and capacities to be installed in a horizontal position, reducing the space needed for their facilities.
The lead acid battery regulated by valve VRLA, also known as sealed batteries are available in the market using two manufacturing technologies GEL and AGM of 2v elements and 12v monoblock.
Lead acid battery regulated by valve with Gel Electrolyte: is the accumulator, which has immobilized electrolyte in gel, composed by an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid and a gelling source.
Lead acid battery regulated by valve with AGM (Absorbed Glass Material) is the element, which has electrolyte composed by an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid absorbed on the glass material corresponding to all FNC line available to the market.
Application
The 2 Volts line of battery has specific applications, being used mostly in a demanding market in terms of quality, reliability and durability. The telecommunication market, electrification and power and uninterruptible power systems (No-Break/UPS) of great power include the range of the main users of this product line.
The 12 Volts line of battery is applied in uninterruptible power systems (No-Break/UPS), and also in another segment such as Emergency lighting systems, Alarm Systems, Entertainment etc.
After mobile technology was introduced into the market, this line of battery had an increase quite significant; this was due the installation of communication points and radio- base stations, having the main factor the compact installations, promoting this way its use in Telecommunication.
